buckles. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. I hand carve
and tool the designs, hand stain and hand stitch each one. The
currently available designs are displayed below.
These buckles have a practical aspect, too. I have a friend whose
wife does the varnish work on their boat and won't let him wear any
metal on his body when aboard. One of these buckles was perfect for
him. Auto mechanics like them, too, because they don't scratch up the
fenders.
Each buckle is built around a metal frame. Leather covers front and
back with a metal belt loop and pin protruding. They are hand stitched
with round leather lace.
Since each leather buckle is hand carved and stained, no two are
exactly alike.
